What does military insurance offer?

Military insurance is the instrument for implementing the Confederation’s responsibility towards persons required to carry out service in the army, civil defence, civilian service or other specialised activities.

Military insurance is a personal insurance that covers the costs of treating damage to health (accidents and illness) for persons carrying out compulsory or voluntary military or civilian service, as well as the economic consequences of such damage to health.

During the period of service, military insurance replaces the accident and health insurance.
