Preventing and combating HAIs in practice requires different approaches. Established processes often have to be changed. Here we describe how selected actors have proceeded and are helping put the NOSO Strategy into practice.

Neuchâtel Cantonal Hospital: “HygièNE des mains”

03.05.2019 - In order to improve adherence to hand hygiene measures, the Neuchâtel Cantonal Hospital developed its own programme – for which it won a European award.

Baden Cantonal Hospital: SSI Intervention

03.05.2019 - With “SSI Intervention”, Swissnoso offers a bundle of measures for avoiding surgical site infections. An interview with the project manager at the Baden Cantonal Hospital, who was in charge of introducing the module.
