Contracts for the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines are disclosed here once negotiations with the manufacturers have been concluded.
To protect the population, the federal government procured vaccines from different manufacturers at an early stage. It was thus able to give members of the Swiss public quick access to safe, effective COVID-19 vaccines. The main emphasis was on mRNA vaccines, supplemented with other vaccines.
The contracts for the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines are disclosed in line with the requirements of the Federal Freedom of Information Act (FoIA/BGö/LTrans), which protects the manufacturers’ professional, trade and manufacturing secrets. These include details of their business strategy or the calculation of prices. This information has been blacked out in the documents.
