Written information for donors of surplus embryos

The use of surplus embryos for stem cell derivation projects is only permissible if the donating couple have been fully informed. Here you’ll find information that must be included in the information sheet.

Verbal information

In order to donate surplus embryos for research purposes, written and verbal information must be provided. Verbal information must be provided by the couple’s physician and under no circumstances by the researchers themselves.
