Legislation regarding evaluation & research

The knowledge the FOPH needs to fulfil its assigned tasks is acquired on the basis of the Federal Act on the Promotion of Research and Innovation (RIPA) and specialist legislation.

The FOPH requires knowledge in order to determine the actions and orientations necessary for carrying out its assigned tasks. The statutory basis for the acquisition of knowledge is provided by the Federal Act on the Promotion of Research and Innovation (RIPA) and also by other general and specialist legislation pertaining to different fields.

The specialist legislation is contained in articles of laws relating to research and/or evaluation (evaluation clauses).
