Bern, 27.3.2025 – The new website provides easily understandable and accessible information on research involving humans. It’s designed to promote awareness of this important topic and give anyone interested the opportunity to learn more about clinical trials and human research.
New platform for human research in Switzerland
A pivotal component of the platform is a reworked trial search function enabling simple and intuitive navigation of the studies available in Switzerland. Trials can now also be displayed on a map of Switzerland to facilitate geographical searches.
The platform offers information in several languages, with data on ongoing and planned clinical trials available in German, French, Italian and English. This makes the platform accessible to an even broader user group and also enables people with an international background to find out about research projects in Switzerland.
This new platform will make an important contribution to transparency in research involving humans. It will help strengthen trust in medical research and actively involve interested citizens in scientific studies. This way it will promote both the level of knowledge among the population and medical progress in Switzerland.
