5.8.2020 – The Federal Council has updated the list of countries and areas with an increased risk of infection. It will enter into force on 8 August 2020 (0:00 hours). Among others, Spain (with the exception of the Balearic and Canary Islands) has been added to the list.
List of countries and areas with an increased risk of infection as at 8 August 2020
The following have now been added to the list of countries and areas with an increased risk of infection:
- Spain (with the exception of the Balearic and Canary Islands)
- Equatorial Guinea
- The Bahamas
- São Tomé and Príncipe
- Singapore
- Sint Maarten
- Romania
The following no longer feature on the list:
- Russia
- Azerbaijan
- United Arab Emirates
All countries and areas with an increased risk of infection are listed in the COVID-19 Ordinance on International Passenger Transport Measures (see below, in documents tab element).
