Reporting health insurers

To ensure that compulsory health insurance is correctly implemented, the FOPH has specified appropriate reporting requirements for insurers and cantons.

In the first months of the calendar year, KVG insurers and the cantons are required to submit a wide variety of documents to the FOPH. The deadline for auditors’ reports on the previous financial year is 30 April. Also to be submitted by KVG insurers to the FOPH by 30 April are the KVG solvency tests (assessment of reserves).
