National programmes
The national programmes DigiSanté, NAPS and NIP are pursuing wide-ranging goals: DigiSanté is designed to promote the digital transformation of healthcare; the NAPS programme aims to eliminate the transmission of HIV and the hepatitis B and C viruses by 2030; and the National Immunisation Programme (NIP) aims to ensure that the population is adequately protected against vaccine-preventable diseases.
National programme (NAPS): Stop HIV, hepatitis B and C viruses and sexually transmitted infections
The idea is that by 2030, there should be no more transmissions of HIV, hepatitis B and C in Switzerland. There is also to be a reduction in the number of other sexually transmitted infections. Information on the new NAPS programme can be found here.
National Immunisation Programme
The Confederation, together with the cantons and other stakeholders, has drawn up a National Immunisation Programme (NIP) with the aim of guaranteeing that the population is sufficiently protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
