Health insurance: Circulars and information letters

The FOPH prepares circulars and information letters for the attention of insurers subject to supervision.

As a supervisory authority, the FOPH issues circulars for the attention of health insurers with the aim of ensuring the consistent application of the law. The FOPH can also send them information letters when a particular development (e.g. a legal ruling) has implications for social health insurance practices.
