Structured and controlled sale of cannabis in Liestal and Allschwil

In this pilot trial, the key question is whether structured and controlled sales of high‑quality, organically grown cannabis by trained sales personnel in specialty stores can produce changes in use, leading to harm reduction and a reduction in illegal use and associated problems. Also to be investigated is whether participation in the pilot trial leads to improvements from a health (physical), psychological and social perspective – i.e. to a higher quality of life overall. The integration of at-risk users into the support system and the influence of the pilot trial on the cannabis black market will also be investigated.
