Accident insurance: Benefits
Insurance benefits provided by the compulsory accident insurance (AIA) include treatment benefits and reimbursement of costs on the one hand, and cash benefits on the other.
Care and reimbursement of costs
Insured persons are entitled to receive appropriate treatment following an accident. In the event of an accident or occupational illness, they are entitled to receive care and reimbursement of costs.
Monetary benefits of accident insurance
The monetary benefits paid in the event of an accident are: daily allowance, disability pension, integrity and helplessness allowance, and surviving dependants’ pension.
