Multiple counting is possible: an embryo may have been produced, cryopreserved, thawed, transferred and/or destroyed in the same year.  ●  Erzeugung eines Embryos: erfolgreiche Befruchtung einer Eizelle mit einer Samenzelle in vitro.  ●  Preservation: Conservation and storage of oocytes, sperm cells or embryos. This usually involves freezing in liquid nitrogen (cryopreservation).  ●  Embryo transfer: Introduction of the embryo produced in vitro into the uterus.
