Second report by WHO and OECD on the Swiss health system
A 2011 report by WHO and OECD on the Swiss health system is the second, following on from one made in 2006. The report was commissioned by Federal Councillor Didier Burkhalter at the (OECD) ministerial meeting he attended in Paris in October 2010. The report is both an update and goes into further depth on three important themes: system governace in general, health insurance, and health professionals. Certain recommendations concerning the Swiss health system made by WHO and OECD are presented in the summary of the report. A WHO/OECD press release is also available, illustrated with figures and tables.
